Dominican Republic for Couples



Palm trees, beautiful beaches, sunshine, and romance in the beautiful Caribbean can all be found in the Dominican Republic. 


The Dominican Republic is the second largest and most diverse Caribbean country. It is known for its beautiful pristine beaches and is one of the top Caribbean destinations for families and couples to date. It is a hugely popular tropical destination for visitors seeking sun. Since the Dominican Republic usually has warm weather year round, it is very common for travelers to gravitate there in the winter. There are many activities in the Dominican Republic. Whether you're into ATV road tours, zip lining, water sports, horseback riding ,jumping in the Blue Hole cave or Hoyo Azul Lagoon - a natural pool with blue water that many travelers like to jump into from a high cliff.


Whether you are traveling there for your honeymoon, romantic getaway, or as a group for a destination wedding, you are sure to find plenty to do for everyone. Rent out a catamaran boat and cruise down the coast with your personal entertainment staff and captain for an even better social distancing experience. I mean, who said social distancing couldn't be fun?

Due to the pandemic, protocols for travel have been implemented to ensure safe and efficient air travel to the country. This includes the following:

  • Temperature checks upon arrival - if a passenger registers a temperature above 100.6 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) or presents any other symptoms, airport authorities will administer a COVID-19 test and initiate the protocols for isolation & treatment of the case.

  • Social distancing guidelines have been established

  • Face masks are required in the airport

  • As part if the immigration & customs forms provided by the airline or Dominican authorities, passengers will be required to fill out and submit a Traveler’s Health Affidavit. Through this form, passengers declare that they have not felt any COVID-19 related symptoms in the last 72 hours and provide contact details for the next 30 days.

The protocols for the hotels, restaurants, bars and other recreational & tourism activities all encompass reduced capacity to ensure proper social distancing, wearing of masks where required (such as walking into restaurant/bar but can be removed once seated), the use of sanitation/disinfection and temperature checks where required. The world is changing and with that comes an increased need to keep travelers, staff and communities safe. Increased sanitation & health awareness is currently the new norm.
